our plans from here

We have booked the next few weeks. Tomorrow we head out from the beach in Mui Ne back to Saigon by bus. It will take anywhere from 4-7 hours (thats what they tell us). So hopefully the traffic is good and we make it in 4. It is only a 215 km trip. The traffic is horrendous and it really depends on the driver too. The roads are straight and there are not mountains to slow us down. Just bad roads and bad drivers really.

We will spend one more night in Saigon or Ho Chi Man city(the locals prefer Siagon) and have flights booked to Hanoi, which is in the North. From Hanoi we will be going on  junk boat tour around Halong bay. We would like to book with  http://www.halongbaytours.net/ and go on the Margarite junk boat. They are amazing tours that I read about a year ago and we thought it would be cool to one day go.

From Hanoi we have now booked our tickets to Thailand. Things are looking very good there right now and after talking to our contact there we feel it is now safe for us to visit. We will be going to http://www.ywamthai.org/chiangmai/joy.html  where we will help with a landscape project and love on the kids who live there. Kathleen has booked us a guest house next door so we can be right there!!

From Chaing Mai we plan on traveling to Laos and Burma if time allows.

Soon after (July 3) we will be returning to life back in Manitoba.

This is what Dean and Colton have been dreaming about lately (OTHER THAN FOOD).

Give big hugs to Kathleen! We've served at the house of Joy too! Look around for all of JOsh and Caleb's toys and clothes from when we were there. If I know you, you will LOVE Thailand and especially Chiang Mai. WE could have simply stayed.

Hugs to you,
Sara
